Create your link page from ChatGPT
You do not need to open an editor to get a link page any more. You need an assistant, one prompt and about two minutes of answering questions.
What the prompt does
The button on the home page — “Copy for LLM” — puts a short prompt on your clipboard. It tells the assistant two things: where the documentation for programs lives, and what it must ask you before building anything. Paste it into ChatGPT and the conversation starts with questions, not with a page.
ChatGPT reads the documentation the way you would read a manual: a page in Markdown that lists every field a page can have, every block type, every error code. Then it asks for the things only you know — the address you want, your name, one sentence about you, your links, your social profiles, a photo if you have one, and whether anything is 18+.
Step by step
- Copy the prompt from tapmy.link and paste it into a new ChatGPT chat.
- Answer its questions. Give real URLs; it will not invent any.
- It checks that your address is free, validates the whole page, and creates it in one request. The page is live at once.
- It reads the page back as text to confirm every block is there, and fixes anything that is wrong.
- It sends you two links: the page, and the claim link. Open the second one, set an e-mail and a password, and the account is yours.
What you should check
Open the page on your phone before you put it in a bio. Read the labels: they should be your words. Tap each link. Look at the template — the assistant picks a sensible one, but Photo, Whisper and Noir are one word away if you want a different mood, and switching loses nothing.
Then open the claim link. Until you do, the page is live but editable only through the key the assistant holds. After you do, it is a normal account: dashboard, statistics, export, everything. The assistant’s key keeps working unless you revoke it in the account settings, which is one click.
