Terms
Everyone here shares one domain, and a platform that blocklists it blocklists every page on it at once. Most of what follows exists for that reason rather than for a lawyer's.
The service
Tapmy.link gives you an address in the form yourname.tapmy.link and a page to put your links on. It is free. There is no paid tier, no trial, and no feature that stops working after a period.
Public pages carry one small promotional block at the bottom. That block is what funds the service in place of a subscription. It is server-rendered, contains no third-party script and sets no cookie.
Your address
- An address is 3 to 30 characters, latin letters, digits and hyphens. It cannot begin or end with a hyphen and cannot contain two hyphens in a row.
- Names that are part of the service — admin, api, mail, blog, language codes and similar — cannot be claimed.
- You may change your address. The previous one redirects to the new one so links already shared keep working.
- An address impersonating a person, a company or a brand you have no right to may be reclaimed. If that happens you keep your account and your content and choose a different address.
What may not go on a page
The first four of these are the ones that get a domain blocklisted, which is why they are enforced without warning.
- Phishing. Anything designed to collect somebody else’s credentials, card details or personal data under a false identity.
- Malware. Links to files or pages that install software the visitor did not ask for.
- Fraudulent financial schemes. Fake airdrops, token giveaways, guaranteed-return investments, and the rest of that category.
- Content that is illegal where it is published or where it is read. Including any sexual content involving minors, which is reported to the authorities rather than merely removed.
- Impersonation. Presenting yourself as a person or an organisation you are not.
- Redirect chains built to hide a destination. A link shortener stacked in front of another shortener is treated as an attempt to conceal, whatever the destination turns out to be.
- Automated mass registration. Accounts created in bulk by a script are removed together.
Adult content
Links to adult platforms are allowed. Unlabelled ones are not.
A link to adult material must be marked 18+ so that it is routed through the age confirmation. The destination of a marked link never appears in the page source; the visitor confirms their age on your page and then passes through a separate warning domain before arriving. Removing that marking to make a link look ordinary is a breach of these terms and is the specific behaviour most likely to damage the domain for everyone.
Adult imagery in the page preview, the header image or the social preview image is not permitted.
Moderation
- Every link added to a page is checked against Google Safe Browsing.
- Anyone can report a page, with no account, from the report form.
- A page under review may be hidden while it is reviewed.
- A page removed for breaching these terms returns 410 Gone at its address, and the address is not released for reuse.
- If your page is removed and you believe it was a mistake, write to abuse@tapmy.link. A human reads it.
Your content
What you publish stays yours. You grant only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, re-encode your images for delivery, and show your page to the people who open it. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account.
You are responsible for having the right to publish what you publish, including images you upload.
Availability
The service is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. It is free, it is young, and it will occasionally be down. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export in the panel exists for exactly that.
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost income or lost audience arising from downtime, removal of a page, or a platform’s treatment of a link.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from the panel. The operator may close an account that breaches these terms, and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice by e-mail to the address on the account.
Age
You must be at least 16 to hold an account.
Disputes
Write to legal@tapmy.link before starting formal proceedings. Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
